Paint by Numbers Mini Yellows and Oranges custom blended fibre tops Fibre Arts 20g

This is a special custom blended fibre tops, it contains fibres that are soft, durable and easy to spin. I designed this blend initially to spin for socks but it turned out to have a softer handle than I thought, so I think it would be suitable for other projects such as sweaters, hats and mittens, and so on.

Each mini braid is approximately 20g, 90cm in length and 5cm in diameter. It is designed such so that you can mix and match different colours to either create your own self-striping yarn, colour blending, or spin mini skeins for your colourworks… think self-striping socks, fade or Fair Isle sweaters ☺️

Fibre Content:

25% BFL (Bluefaced Leicester)

25% Polwarth

25% Cheviot

12.5% Southdown

12.5% Dorset Horn

All fibres contained in this blend are non-superwash, however the Southdown and Dorset Horn are down type fibres which means they are naturally bouncy, resilient and have good washability; at the same time the other fibres in this blend are renowned for their soft handle and good insulation.

This blend is feltable.

Care: Hand wash with care, dry in shade
