Summer Sunset - custom blended fibre 100g
This is an updated version of Summer Sunset, a custom blended combed tops suitable for spinning and felting.
Fibre content:
60% Shetland
25% Merino
15% Tussah Silk
Each braid is 100g
Shetland wool is arguably the finest British wool, the staples have an average length of 90mm and 29-31 micron. Merino wool is exquisitely soft, skin-friendly and suitable for a wide variety of projects. Tussah Silk has a natural sheen, although not as fine as Mulberry Silk it is more durable.
This blend is beginner friendly although more experienced spinner will also enjoy the ease of spin.
Also suitable for felting. Gentle hand wash.
*All care have been taken during the dyeing process, however some residual dye may still remain but should wash out after one or two washes. As with all hand dyed items colour variations between batches or even within the same batch are normal.
